Intersoc – 7th round results – 3 Dec. 13 – A good win, a tough loss and a lot of forfeit…

Yesterday evening ECSC2 got a convincing win, with a twist, against BELFIUS1, 3-1 and 11 points to 5. John, in the always difficult position of #1 player, lost but Pedro and Kevin won respectively 3-0 and 3-2. Sadly the 3rd match was a forfeit for us, our opponent’s 2nd player having already left Winners even before the match could start!

ECSC3 got their 2nd forfeit for the whole team in a row. Even more sadly this time without any prior notice. Apparently our opponent, Castle1, though we were playing on Thursday…
A real shame.

Last but not least, EUROCONTROL lost 0-4 to a very strong NATO team but still managed to get 7 points to 14 in 4 very disputed matches.

LFS Interclubs – Results 21st November

ECSC1 won 3-1 last week against Abbaye Recocars-Ice Watch, but unfortunately as neither team was complete for the start of the match, and Fred at the last minute couldn’t make it to Winners, we were penalized by the Federation, and so the team lost 0-4.

On the positive side, the 3 individual match wins still count for the players ranking points.

ECSC1- Abbaye Recocars-Ice Watch: 0-4

No matches this week due to the Belgium Championship.

Intersoc – 6th round results – 19-20 Nov.13

ECSC2 won on Tuesday evening 3-1, 12 points to 5 against our first team EUROCONTROL!
John valiantly got a set from Don with some great mid-court boost, Artur won 3-1 against Jens despite not being 100% and Kevin won 3-0 against Eivan. Pedro played his match against Kim on 28/11 and won 3-1.
This win put ECSC2 as leader of the 1st division with 68 points!!!

ECSC3 received a rain check (forfeit) against Sopra Bank which could unfortunately not find enough players.

No match next week (25-29 Nov.).

Next matches at home for all teams on Tuesday 3 December 20:00 at Winners:

  • ECSC2 will play against BELFIUS1 currently 4th in the ranking.

The next matches are:

  • ECSC1 Thu 21/11/2013 8:00 PM Home vs. Abbaye Recocars-Ice Watch who are currently league leaders
  • ECSC2 no match until December!

Our friend and former core player of ECSC, Lars Varden, was back in Bxl the weekend of 16/17 Nov. 2013. A lot of good fun and great memories.
