Intersoc – 14th round & final results

ECSC 2 and ECSC 3 had their last match of the season yesterday evening.

ECSC 2 waited to be crowned champion before crashing badly against Belfius 1. With only 2 players, Kevin managed to win a set et while Pierre lost in straights sets.

ECSC 3 finished the season with a 2-2 draw, 8 points to 7 at Castle. Jaime and Paul both won in straight sets while Christof surprisingly lost in straights sets as well. Sadly Frank had to retire because of injury after having won the 1st set.
Before the match ECSC 3 was trailing Castle 1 by 1 point and as a result should now be tied in 3rd position with exactly the same total of points as Castle 1.

A big thanks to everyone who played this season, for your dedication and fighting spirit. It was a successful and enjoyable season for all ECSC teams. Hope we can have similar success next year.

Kevin

LFS InterClubs – Results 3rd April 2014

It went better than expected yesterday with a ECSC 1 managing a 2-2 draw against the top team. Everybody was outranked, but Artur had a good 3-1 win, Pedro a great 3-2 win over a C2 coming back from 7-9 down in the 5th to take it, Mitch narrowly lost 2-3 to a C1 after having had match points in the 4th & 5th games, and Enrique was the sacrifical lamb losing 0-3 to a B3.

The ECSC 2 match was postponed until the 15th May.

This leaves ECSC 1 in 2nd place, with two teams close behind, and ECSC 2 in 2nd place, but with a match in hand.

So all to play for in the last match of the season after Easter!

LFS Interclubs – Result 27th March 2014

Last week ECSC1 lost 1-3 despite a good effort against higher ranked opponents, and stay just inside the promotion zone in 3rd place.
ECSC2 managed a 2-2 draw, which keeps them narrowly in the top spot by 2 points.
So with just two matches to go, it is still all to play for!

Next Matches:

  • Thu 3/4/2014 8:00 PM Ecsc 1 – Abbaye Recocars Ice-Watch
  • Thu 3/4/2014 8:00 PM Ecsc 2 – Castle Fred Biscara

LFS InterClubs – Results 20th March 2014

Last week was not the best, both teams lost, ECSC1 1-3 against NATO, and ECSC2 0-4 against Lasne.

This means ECSC1 have slipped to 3rd place, but only 1 point off the lead, and ECSC2 narrowly hold onto 1st place by 1 point.

Hopefully we can bounce back this week:
