Intersoc – 13th round results – ECSC 2 is champion of the 1st division!

On 18 March evening, ECSC 3 had a very good result winning 4-0 and 14 points to 3 against Sopra bank. Christof had to battle hard to prevail in 5 sets while Frank won 3-1 and Pierre 3-0. Sadly Paul had to go home without playing as his opponent did not show up.

Thanks to these good results ECSC 3 should now be in 4th position. With a similar good result in the last match a place on the podium should be our target.

ECSC 2 comfortably won 3-1 and 12 points to 3 against their closest competitor EUROCONTROL. Fred had previously lost 1-3 against Don but Pedro, Artur and Kevin all won in straight sets respectively against Jens, Eivan, and Robert.

As a results ECSC 2 now leads by 24 points and, with only 1 match left to play, is champion of the 1st division!!!

LFS Interclus – Results 13 March 2014

ECSC 1 won 4-0 against Namur 1 which bring ECSC 1 as co-leader of the playoff 4!

ECSC 2 had a drawn against Winner’s Kean sous doués team. ECSC 2  is still comfortably leader of the playoff 7.

Next match on 20 March for both teams.

Le Parc Squash Open 2014

The Parc squash & tennis club is organising the second edition of their Squash Open from 25 to 29 March 2014. This year, they will open 2 additional courts, therefore bringing their total to 4 courts.

Intersoc – 12th round result – A win, a loss, and a bye

Yesterday evening, 11 March, ECSC 2 won 3-1, 11 points to 3 against SWIFT.
Mitch kindly helped us as #1 player but could do nothing against the Castle Club’s coach himself, Don Veale. Pedro, Artur, and Christof all won 3-0. Props!

ECSC 3 unfortunately received a very late bye from P&G.

Finaly EUROCONTROL lost 1-3, 5 points to 12 to a strong GDF SUEZ 1 with Vitor saving the honour.

Next matches already next Tuesday 18 March 20:00 @ Winners:

  • ECSC 2 will play against EUROCONTROL, our closer competitor.
  • ECSC 3 will play against Sopra Bank, currently 2nd bottom.

LFS Interclubs – Results 20 February 2014

ECSC 1 lost 1-3 to Abbaye Recorcars. Fred managed to snatch a games from an A player while Markus and Enrique lost in straight sets to better players. Sharp and reliable as always Pedro took revenge winning in straight sets.

ECSC 2 confirmed their position at the top of the leader board winning 3-1 against Castle Fred Biscara. Rob had the come-back of the evening, coming from nowhere to  win 13-11 in the filth sets. Artur also a tough match but still prevailed 12-10 in the fifth. John edged a close match winning 3-1, clearly fitter than his opponent. Kevin lost 0-3.

Intersoc – 11th round results – All teams draw!

Last Wednesday 12 February, ECSC3 scored a good draw, 11 points to 8, against BNP Paribas Fortis 1. Christof and Jaime won respectively 3-0 and 3-1. Petr and Frank, for his return to competition Frank, both lost tough matches in 5 sets.

Yesterday 18/02, ECSC 2 only managed a draw against a good ING 1 side, 8 points to 8.
John faced against the impossible task of winning against a A player while Pedro won his match in clinical fashion 3-0. Artur, solid as ever, came through a tough match 3-1. Unfortunately Kevin lost 1-3 to a good 4th player.

Finally EUROCONTROL also had a draw against Vinalgros on Monday 17/02. More details to follow.

As a result ECSC 2 is still leader of the 1st division with EUROCONTROL in 2nd position. ECSC 3 is currently 4th in the 3rd division.

Next matches on 11 March 20:00 Winners for all teams:

  • EUROCONTROL will play against GDF SUEZ 1, currently ranked 3rd.
  • ECSC 2 will play against SWIFT 1
  • ECSC 3 will play against P&G 1, ranked just one place above!

 

LFS Interclubs – Results 30 January 2014

Yesterday evening ECSC2 had a good win 3-1 against ARAMIS 3.
John won 3-1 with some long rallies. Pedro also won 3-0 thanks to a lot of nicks. Rob lost 1-3 to a young player who keeps on getting better and Kevin had an easy 3-0 win.

The evening finished with some good beers and another Thai dinner.

Thanks again to Rob for the ride.

Intersoc – 10th round results – all teams win : )

Yesterday evening (28/01/2014), all 3 ECSC Intersoc teams won with the same score!

EUROCONTROL won 3-1 against SWIFT with only Don losing to Don Veale, the coach of the Castle Club himself.

ECSC 2 did prevail 3-1 against 2nd in the league GDF SUEZ 1.
There again our 1st player John lost to player ranked A! Pedor, Artur had relatively easy wins while Kevin struggled a lot but somehow managed to win 3-1.
ECSC 2 is therefore consolidating its place as leader of the 1st division.

Finally ECSC 3 also recorded a good 3-1 win against AG INSURANCE 2 thanks to some strong display from Christof, Jaime and Pierre while Maximilien is continuing is learning curve.

Next matches:

  • ECSC 3 on Wednesday 12 February 18:30 at Winners against BNP PARIBAS FORTIS 1. The team with the longest name ; )
  • EUROCONTROL on Monday 17 February 20:00 at Castle against VINALGROS. The team with the most external players with a high ranking.
  • ECSC 2 on Tuesday 18 February 18:00 at Castle against ING 1.
