Intersoc – 7th round results – 3 Dec. 13 – A good win, a tough loss and a lot of forfeit…

Yesterday evening ECSC2 got a convincing win, with a twist, against BELFIUS1, 3-1 and 11 points to 5. John, in the always difficult position of #1 player, lost but Pedro and Kevin won respectively 3-0 and 3-2. Sadly the 3rd match was a forfeit for us, our opponent’s 2nd player having already left Winners even before the match could start!

ECSC3 got their 2nd forfeit for the whole team in a row. Even more sadly this time without any prior notice. Apparently our opponent, Castle1, though we were playing on Thursday…
A real shame.

Last but not least, EUROCONTROL lost 0-4 to a very strong NATO team but still managed to get 7 points to 14 in 4 very disputed matches.

ECSC2 won on Tuesday evening 3-1, 12 points to 5 against our first team EUROCONTROL!
John valiantly got a set from Don with some great mid-court boost, Artur won 3-1 against Jens despite not being 100% and Kevin won 3-0 against Eivan. Pedro played his match against Kim on 28/11 and won 3-1.
This win put ECSC2 as leader of the 1st division with 68 points!!!

ECSC3 received a rain check (forfeit) against Sopra Bank which could unfortunately not find enough players.

Yesterday evening our Eurocontrol team got a great win 14 points to 2, losing only 2 games to a strong Vinalgros team.

ECSC2 won 3-1, 11-points to 4, against bottom of the league ING1. John only loosing to player ranked A who is clearly too strong for this competition.

Intersoc – 3rd round results – 2 Oct.13 – 2 wins and a draw

EUROCONTROL won 3-1 against SWIFT, 12 points to 4.
Some nice relaxed matches in a good environment, and the croques offered by Swift after the matches were much appreciated!

ECSC 2, with only 2 players, managed a draw against GDF SUEZ, losing 7 points to 8.

ECSC 3 were more successful against AG Insurance 2 with Christof, Tanguy, and Nick winning in straight sets and Jaime just losing 1 set, 14 points to 1.

Intersoc – 2nd round results – 24 Sept.13 – A win, a draw, and a loss (bis repetita)

ECSC2 had an easy away victory yesterday against a weak NATO team.
John, Pedro, and I winning 3-0 and Artur doing all the sweat eventually winning 3-2.

ECSC3 had on the contrary a tough evening losing 3 matches 0-3. Christof eventually losing a very tough five set match 8-10 in the fifth.

EUROCONTROL had a draw: 2-2, 8-9 to Belfius in points.
Kim and Eivan won while Jens and Leigh lost. Not too bad.
